The Lhasa Apso is a wonderful pet, sometimes willful and sometimes can be lively, but they are all affectionate and affectionate. The Lhasa Apso is a generally healthy breed, but it can suffer from skin problems if its coat is not cared for properly. Some may have hip dysplasia in addition to eye problems and kidney problems. On rare occasions, these dogs can develop a bleeding ulcer.

These little dogs are very active indoors, but they can do well in an apartment as long as they walk regularly and have the opportunity to play and run. This is not a dog that needs a lot of exercise, but all dogs need a walk at least once a day.

Due to the long coat, this breed needs grooming care and you will need to trim and peel the coat. If they are not brushed every day, the coat will become quite matted and unruly. The feet can also easily become tangled and should be checked daily. This breed can be dry shampooed when necessary and its eyes and ears should be cleaned frequently. Despite the long code, this breed is only an average shedder.
