First, pre-packing your food for the week can not only help you save time in the morning, but also ensure you’re eating what you need as part of your flat stomach diet. Plan your meals each week, buy and prepare the food you need, and the next time you wake up late, you won’t have to run to the nearest fast food restaurant, you’ll have your food ready to go.

You can always try changing the music you listen to during your workout. Listening to the same thing week after week can make your workout seem boring and monotonous. Changing what you hear will help keep you energized and ready to go, making sure every workout counts.

Make sure you exercise even if you are tired. We sometimes use this as an excuse to stay away from the gym, thus preventing us from reaching our fitness goals for another day. They have done studies showing that sweating it out in the gym can keep you energized and ready to go throughout the day. The next time you have those mid-afternoon yawns, instead of reaching for a candy bar to get you through those last few hours, try getting your heart rate up and you’ll be good to go.

Or maybe, if you’re really tired after work and having a hard time getting to the gym, try working out at a different time. Switching up your schedule and breaking a sweat in the morning not only eliminates your workout for the day, it fills you with energy and sets you up for a successful day.

Lastly, to help get you through the week and to ensure you’re successfully working toward your flat-stomach goals, try a different piece of cardio equipment. You don’t have to use the treadmill every day. Not only will it be more exciting for you, but you’ll target different muscle groups, adding even more benefits to those 20 sweaty minutes.
