Mario Party 3 – A Brief Review
Mario Party 3 is one of the best games on the Nintendo 64. It’s an old game, I know, but it’s a lot of fun and I spend a lot of time playing it with my sister. I’m going to tell you a couple of things about one of my favorite games.
Mario Party 3 Characters
We have eight characters to play in this game: Mario, Luigi, Peach, Daisy, Yoshi, Wario, Donkey Kong, and Waluigi. We can choose up to four players per game, and you can choose computer players or human players.
Difficulty level
There are two options for the difficulty level. We can choose the “All the same” option or the “Individual” option. The “All the same” will assign all COM Characters the same difficulty level. In the “Individual” option you can choose a different difficulty level for each COM Character.
disability option
The Handicap option will give a character a number of stars at the start of the game. You can choose up to nine stars for each player. However, there is the No Handicap option, which is the fairest option: zero stars for all players.
board selection
In the board selection option, there are six boards, one is secret. They all have a level of difficulty. One star for the easiest boards, two stars for the normal boards, and three stars for the most difficult boards.
Once you choose a board, you must hit a dice block to decide the player’s turn. If you have the highest number you will be the first. So you’re going to have 10 coins to start with.
blue and red spaces
The blue spaces give you 3 coins and the red ones take away 3 coins. In the last five turns, the amount of coins will be doubled.
element spaces
The item slots have the face of a Toad. Toad or Baby Bowser will appear and ask you a question and give you items. On the other hand, they can choose a minigame for you to play and the price will be one item.
