Sport prediction is a popular application of ML, with studies leveraging features specific to different sports. However, the nature of sports data can obscure models’ performance in this domain. To evaluate this, we collected Sports Predictions from four major North American sporting leagues for 30 years. Relative accuracy was measured using Kruskal-Wallis H tests and Mann-Whitney U tests.

The Eagles outscored their opponents by a wide margin during the regular season and were able to capitalize on an incredible running game led by quarterback Michael Vick.
