High quality of life, high standards of living, great cultural centers and booming technology hubs and advanced urban infrastructures make many European cities the best places to live in the world. However, in terms of geekability and nerdness, European cities tend to fall short. When we take into account that the definition of “nerd” is quite subjective and not so much objective, it becomes more difficult to write this article. However, by clarifying “nerdiest cities,” we mean cities that have high levels of employment, are culturally and technologically prosperous centers, and have the most intelligent inhabitants. Sounds like a great place to settle down to me, doesn’t that sound tempting? Another criterion that nerd cities have is that they are attractive places to live and raise a family due to job security, intelligent people, caring and that provide a high quality of life.
