What is a strong man??

A strong man is a high ranking principality demon spirit who sits on thrones in the spirit realm and rules over evil spirits operating in the earth realm. These evil spirits can rule certain geographic areas of the earth, they can operate in churches and are passed down from generation to generation in a family, and they can also dwell within an individual. We must always remember that our struggle occurs in the spiritual realm. Our fight is not against men and women of flesh and blood. Our battle is against principalities, powers, the rulers of the darkness of this world and against spiritual wickedness on high. These are the demonic spirit forces that have established thrones in the second heaven to prevent us from entering the third heaven where God resides. These forces block our prayers, our liberation, our freedom and have come down to earth to enter the hearts and minds of people.

How does a strong man get in??

A strong man can gain access when a door has been left open for the devil to gain access. When the enemy has managed to enter a certain area, a strong man or a ruling spirit will be in control. The lesser evil spirits will continue as manifestations of the strong man, but to get rid of the evil spirits, you must first start from the root by dealing with the strong man. To be free from these strong men, deliverance must take place and you must bind the strong man and release the Holy Spirit.

The word tells us that when a strong man like Satan is fully armed and protects his palace, his possessions are safe until someone even stronger attacks and overpowers him, strips him of his weapons and takes his belongings. Jesus has given us authority to go to the enemy’s camp, tie him up, and take his property. These assets include our marriages, our children, our businesses, our churches, and the most important lost souls. Everything the devil has stolen from us is ours to take back. The Bible says that the Kingdom of Heaven has advanced strongly and that violent people are attacking it. We have been allowed to advance on the enemy and regain property under the protection of Jesus Christ.

Jesus has given us power and dominion over all of them to keep them from operating while we pray for the Holy Spirit to come in and take over. We lose the Holy Spirit to enter the situation to free the captive, to bring light in the darkness, to remove the chains that bind us, and to proclaim freedom. We have been given the keys to heaven and everything we bind on earth will be bound in heaven and everything we loose on earth will be loosed in heaven.
