Importance of sex in religion

The first relationship in this world Created by ALMIGHTY GOD was that of husband and wife. Adam, the first of humanity, was blessed with Eve, his wife, the mother of all human beings. In fact, the relationship of the mother and her child is very important and sacred, but it was born as a result of the first relationship. It is a fact that the creation of peers in the world is a precious and merciful gift from ALMIGHTY GOD. The genders, masculine and feminine, blessed with love and affection are a beautiful creation of our Lord. The last Holy Book of GOD ALMIGHTY says in verse No.36 of chapter 36 (Yaaseen) as follows:

“Glory to ALMIGHTY GOD (ALLAH), who created in pairs all things that the earth produces, as well as their own (human) kind and (other) things of which they have no knowledge.”

Science has now declared that genders are available in plants, but this fact was already revealed about 1500 years earlier, in the last Holy Book of GOD ALMIGHTY.

It is an unquestionable fact that the series and succession of life in generations was not possible in the absence of partners and sex.

We human beings are the most eminent of all creatures of ALMIGHTY GOD, as such, He has also prescribed principles for our sexual relationship.

We can mention here the story of Prophet Lot/Lut (peace be upon him) who was the nephew of Prophet Abraham (peace be upon him). He was sent by GOD ALMIGHTY to the city of Sodom (Sadum) situated on the western shore of the Dead Sea. The city in question was immensely full of evils. The most common evil among people was that men had sex with men instead of women. According to the Instructions of GOD ALMIGHTY, Prophet Lot (pbuh) warned them to give up this filthy deed, but they refused to obey him and threatened to expel him from the city. Consequently, as a result of the wrath of GOD ALMIGHTY, a terrible storm of stones rained down on the city and all were completely destroyed, while Prophet Lot (pbuh) and his followers were saved, as they migrated from the city according to with the instructions of GOD ALMIGHTY.

There is a misunderstanding that the last book of GOD ALMIGHTY (ALLAH), orders believers to have 4 wives at the same time, but it is not true. In fact, there was a practice of having so many wives at the same time, a trend that was stopped and the limit of 4 marriages was imposed. Verse No. 3 of chapter No. 4 (Al-Nisa i:e women) book of GOD ALMIGHTY begins with these instructions:

“If you fear that you will not be able to treat orphans fairly, marry women of your choice, two, three, or four; but if you fear that you will not be able to treat (them) fairly, then only one,”

Some people object to the number of wives of the last Prophet (pbuh) but he was not the first prophet to have more than one wife. According to the Bible and the Torah, the prophet Abraham (pbuh) had 3 wives, the prophet Jacob (pbuh) had 4 wives, the prophet Moses (pbuh) had 4 wives, the prophet David (pbuh) had 9 wives, and the prophet Solomon (pbuh) had 700 wives.

Almost all of the wives of the last Prophet (pbuh) except one were widows and he married each of them for one reason mostly to support widows/orphans. His first wife was also a widow and during his lifetime the Prophet (pbuh) did not remarry for a period of 25 years. His wife Umme Salamah was a widow with 4 orphans, 2 boys and 2 girls. She loved the orphaned children more than her real father. Her wife, Zainab bint Gahsh, who was a cousin of the Prophet, married him after divorcing her first husband, Zayd.

It is seen from the above details that the Prophet (pbuh) married widows/divorcées to protect them. Only one wife of the Holy Prophet (s), named Aisha, was a virgin at the time of marriage. There is a common confusion about her age at the time of her marriage to the Holy Prophet (pbuh). According to almost all historians, Asma, Aisha’s older sister, was 10 years older than Aisha. Asma is reported to have died in AD 73. H. (692 AD) when she was 100 years old, so at the time of Hijra she was 27 years old and Aisha was 17 years old and not 7 years old, which is probably an error due to an omission. from figure 1. She was handed over to the Holy Prophet (peace be upon him) about a year after Hijra in the month of Shawal.

The ALMIGHTY GOD (ALLAH) instructs the husband and wife to keep secret from each other. Verse 187 of chapter 2 of the Holy Quran begins with these instructions:

“Allowed to you on the night of fasting is the approach to your women. They are your garments and you are their garments.”
