INGREDIENTS

1 cup of cooked rice

2 cups of milk

1/3 cup of condensed milk

1/2 teaspoon cardamom (elaichi) powder

1 teaspoon butter

FOR THE GARNISH

4 to 6 cashews

Now let’s find out the recipe for ‘Rice Kheer’ (sweet rice porridge).

We need rice, milk, sugar, condensed milk, cardamom powder, almonds, pistachio flakes and a little clarified butter.

First of all, for milk in a hot pan.

Next, we will add cooked rice to the milk.

Rice needs to be scented when we prepare rice kheer.

You can go for Basmati or Nagmohar. Anything that is available must be scented.

While it cooks, we will add sugar to taste.
